  • The plastic round manhole cover A15 is ideal for very light loads, such as on sidewalks, pedestrian zones, garden paths, or park trails, where no vehicle traffic or heavier load is expected.
  • It is suitable for covering smaller inspection chambers and connections that require secure access but do not require high load capacity.
  • The manhole cover is equipped with two locks that enhance security and protect against unauthorized opening. Its design ensures easy access to underground networks, such as sewage and water supply systems.
  • Thanks to its lighter weight of 9.5 kg, handling and installation are easy. The locking system with two locks provides protection against unauthorized access.
  • On request, a custom design on the lid is possible according to the customer's wishes. Color options are available based on the offered selection of designated colors.

  • Make sure the base can withstand the designed load (at least 20 kN / 2 tons).
  • Level the supporting surface so that the manhole cover is installed flush with the surrounding surface.
  • Position the manhole base below the cover layer by the height of the structure (lid and frame).
  • Insert the manhole cover frame into the prepared opening, ensuring the correct orientation of the “ears” relative to the direction of vehicle traffic.
  • Level the opening to prevent any shifting.
  • Mark the positions for drilling the anchor holes.
  • Secure the cover to the supporting base using anchors and verify the strength of the fixation.
  • When installing into asphalt or bitumen, use thermal insulation material to prevent damage from high temperatures.
  • Fill the space around the manhole cover with suitable material (concrete mix, backfill).
  • Check the ease of opening and closing the manhole cover lid.
  • Ensure free access to the manhole.
  • For manhole covers installed on roadways, it is important to use support rings to evenly distribute the load and prevent damage.
  • Manhole covers located in terrain without a roadway should be installed 5 cm above ground level.
  • Reinforcement with a slight slope away from the lid should be made around the manhole cover.
  • It is not recommended to cover manhole covers with decorative elements that could hinder access to the manhole.
